Posidoni was born from an immersion in the depths. Inspired by the sacred marine plants that mythology attributes to Poseidon, seaweed becomes matter here. First sculpted in clay, then fixed in bronze, it comes alive with glass bubbles, like so many suspended breaths, gusts from the ocean depths.
The artist sculpts the sea as one captures a heartbeat. Intertwining seaweed emerges, like a silent, profound dance, shaped by the currents. Every irregularity, every tension in the form, speaks of nature—its fragility, its vibrant movement, its vital energy.
This raw breath becomes a sculptural gesture, an instinctive response to the force of life. The work does not merely imitate nature: it unfolds its intensity, its free, irreducible power, which escapes control and transcends time without ever becoming fixed.
